To the sky, upwards and blue. This large ponderosa pine tree, with a gnarled and weathered grey-brown tree trunk, is reaching upwards to a stunning view of the blue sky with white fluffy clouds. The ponderosa pine tree's aged and weathered appearance indicates it has been standing for many years. Indeed, weathering the intense winds and temperature extremes on the rim of the Grand Canyon.
